We’re back for theme 32, which tasked us with drawing a self portrait in an unflattering light – first thing in the morning!

Self portrait in the morning
I wanted to use the negative white space of the paper as positive space. I also built up the crosshatching in the shadows to contrast the white space.
I left my hair white, just underworked enough.
